Zebras Funding Goal ... Our Vision
"We would never of imagined that the Organisation would have come this far in such a short space of time ...
Our initial goal was to create a group where parents could come together and share their experiences whilst their children played in a safe, happy and accepting environment, this has happened. We then thought we could do the same for Adults and their parents, carers and support staff, this too has happened. Then we decided we needed to register as a Charity as the voluntary work we do needs the financial support from voluntary donations, sponsorship's and in January 2017 this too happened.
So what now?
It has always been our dream, our goal to have our very own, unique centre whereby children and adults can access recreational services, and further beneficial groups; parents and carers could enjoy a beverage in the cafe, there would be voluntary job opportunities for disabled people, and the whole centre would offer employment roles to the community.
The area the centre would be situated would be in the most diverse part of London, and would welcome people with Mental Health difficulties, and help reduce poverty by expanding our existing partnership with Tesco/Fareshare ; collecting further surplus food from additional stores to distribute to more people in need.
There are so many possibilities but to get there we need the funds, support and volunteers.
This is where we are calling upon those who can help us reach this goal. The plans are under way, and further details of the target we wish to reach will soon be announced on this website. Maybe you could help us ?
Our Son was the reason we started all of this, we want him to have a bright future, and we are passionate about others just like him to have the same " ...

" END OF SUMMER DISCO" 5TH SEPTEMBER 2015....
Zebras Childrens Club was delighted to host our very first Summer Disco which was the result of discussions at our Committee meeting.
Louise Butcher, a member of our committee & Helper at Zebras Club organised and arranged the event which was a huge success and a real hit with our service users.
Louise's Brother, Michael Butcher, provided us with his professional DJ Service of which he happily adapted to suit the needs of the Children at our Club. Many of our Children have sensory difficulties therefore a conventional disco can cause distress due to loud music and sensitivity to light, however Michael made sure that throughout the session the children were all comfortable with the service.
Everyone had an input into the event, parents brought along food and drink, and many children even wore fancy dress which was wonderful!
We even had a visit from our Official Sponsor from Metaswitch Networks, whom witnessed first hand all the fun!
We are all now looking forward to our next Party.... Our First Halloween Spooky do!!
For more information regarding hiring DJ Michael for any occasion, including Special Needs Parties please contact Michael on : 07804 622734
Picture Gallery demonstrates how the Disco looked before all our service users arrived.....
(photographs could not be displayed of children during the Disco due to some individual childrens personal circumstances and safety).
