Taking care of ourselves is often the last priority in our lives. When we have better mental health we are more equipped to deal with the challenges we face daily. Life Coaching can help guide you and provide you with all the tools you need to manage your life and keep you going along the right track.
But what is Life Skills Coaching?
Life Skills Coaching is a term used for the profession of therapists who are trained to use a range of therapeutic techniques to assist people in a training or coaching style.
Life Skills Coaching is a diverse, humanistic therapy that considers the individual's life as a whole.
Harriet Piercy is a Life Skills Coach specialising in depression, stress and anxiety . Using a Life Skills Approach, Harriet practices with a toolbox of interventions that promote mental well-being.
Harriet aims to help people to lead the life they want to and reach their goals through working together. A young Grandmother and Mother to three older children, her youngest who is Autistic and Learning disabled, Harriet has many years of experience and has assisted many individuals with various difficulties to overcome barriers and lead fulfilling lives. Harriet has trained and studied for over 7 years, even whilst caring for her family and youngest son's additional needs. She holds a level 4 qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Level 4 advanced Life Skills Coaching , plus many related additional level 3 qualifications. She has also worked for many years voluntarily in the Mental Health sector and disabled community and is the proud Founder of the charity.
Harriet is also a professionally trained Artist, and uses these skills as a way to help combat her own personal struggles with anxiety and depression and attention difficulties.
Harriet also offers a service to the disabled community working with the charity, aiming to reach out to many people in need of support, and help them to live the life they chose.
Harriet therefore gives her time for FREE offering emotional support to disabled people, carers, and those with mental health difficulties at one of the charities services ZAG. ( please note that Harriet will offer general counselling at these sessions as coaching is a more in depth therapy, needing more commitment and time).
