Help the environment ♻️ While helping the community ♻️
Every workplace has unwanted/unused equipment, electronics, and stationary that's just taking up space. Instead of letting it go to waste, you can donate it to us, and we'll handle the rest. We'll give your unwanted items a second life by selling them through our online charity shop, with all proceeds going directly to our community projects and services.
Does your office have a storeroom full of old computers, or stationary? Instead of letting those items gather dust or end up in a landfill, you can transform them into a force for good. Our program makes it easy to recycle office equipment, electronics, and supplies. We'll take your items, give them a new purpose by selling them through our online charity shop, and then use every pound of the proceeds to fund our essential community-based projects and services - such as giving toys to disadvantaged children at Christmas!
By joining the Zebras Company-to-Community Initiative, you're not just decluttering your workplace —you're directly contributing to the well-being of our beneficiaries, turning what you no longer need into a powerful source of support for our charitable objectives.
How it works
You get in touch. Using the “Join the Company-To-Community Initiative” button, you can let us know who you are, what items you have to donate, and any other relevant information you would like to share with us. We accept a wide range of office/workplace equipment, electronics, and stationary, so don’tbe afraid to offer you donations - even a stockpile of unopened paper could raise much-needed funds.
Delivery is arranged. We can handle all the logistics, arranging collection of the donated items from your location or if you’re feeling extra generous, you can arrange and pay for postage yourself! All of the items will be sent to our main office, and carefully stored until sale.
We sell the items via our online charity shop. We then prepare your donated items for sale through our online charity shop, giving them a new lease on life. Everything from research to photography will be handled by us, and we’ll update you on how much we’ve raised thanks to your kind donation!
The community benefits. The funds raised from every single item are used to support our projects and services, directly helping those in the community who need it most. We believe the Zebras Company-to-Community Initiative is a fantastic way for businesses in the UK to donate to charity while fulfilling their corporate social responsibility - making it ideal for any office, warehouse, or workplace.
Who you’ll support
By donating your company's unwanted/unused items, you're directly fueling the essential work we do in the community. You are helping to provide nutritious meals for a family, ensuring a child wakes up to a gift on Christmas morning, or empowering an individual with a learning disability to find confidence and purpose. Your contribution is more than just a donation—it's a lifeline.
By donating your company's unneeded items, you're directly fueling the essential work we do in the community. The funds we raise go straight to these key areas of our much-needed work:
Fruit and Veg For Families: Providing fortnightly fresh fruit and vegetable boxes to families struggling to afford healthy food, ensuring children and parents have access to nutritious meals.
Christmas Toy Appeal: Bringing the magic of Christmas to life by providing new toys to children who might otherwise receive nothing, helping to relieve financial stress for their families during the festive season.
Community Hub/Cafe: Supporting a safe and inclusive space where individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities can gain valuable skills, build confidence, and connect with their community by running a vibrant local cafe or by engaging in our inclusive social groups.
Core Charitable Costs: For our projects to succeed, we need a strong foundation. This includes essential costs like our online shop platform, volunteer training, and a small portion of staff time to manage the entire initiative. By supporting these vital running costs, you ensure we can operate efficiently and continue our life-changing work for the long term.

Yes, absolutely. Once your donation has been collected, we will provide your business with an official receipt for your records. This can be useful for internal reporting or corporate social responsibility (CSR) documentation.
-
CSR is a business practice where a company operates in a way that positively impacts society and the environment. Beyond just making a profit, it's about a company's commitment to ethical behaviour, contributing to economic development, and improving the well-being of its workforce, local communities, and society at large. Our initiative provides an easy, tangible way for businesses to fulfill their CSR goals by turning unused assets into a force for community good.
-
Beyond the immediate benefit to the community, actively engaging in CSR can significantly strengthen your business. It's about building a positive reputation, which can attract new customers and improve brand loyalty. Today's consumers and employees are more conscious than ever, and they prefer to support and work for companies that align with their values.
By participating in our initiative, you're not just making a one-time donation; you're demonstrating a clear, ongoing commitment to social and environmental well-being. This can boost employee morale, making your team proud to work for a company that gives back. Ultimately, a strong CSR strategy is a win-win: it helps you grow your business while making a tangible, positive impact on the world around you.
-
Yes. While we don't physically break down and process the materials, our initiative is a form of "reuse and repurposing," which is a key part of the broader recycling concept. Instead of sending unwanted items to a landfill or having them go through an energy-intensive industrial recycling process, we give them a second life. By selling these items, we ensure they are used again, reducing waste and the need to manufacture new products. The funds we raise then fuel our community projects, creating a positive social and environmental cycle.
